Hi Dave

Of course you can get good timber in Sweden - domestic or imported. There are a number of SOF-builders over here who are pretty successful at that. Good quality pine in suitable dimensions is easy to find almost anywhere. Hardwoods are normally purchased as planks, and needs milling and planing - unless of course bought dimensioned from a cabinet maker or carpenters shop.

Suitable skin materials (nylon or polyester) have proven hard to get here - sold only in quantity from one or two vendors. May be a good idea to bring along.

Chemicals for treating the skin are easily available at most marine shops.
