Flling in backside of rolling bevel

Usually the only gaps I get that need fixing is right on the shear line where I am using 1/4" x 1/4" strips at a severe angle. For my boat that occurs on the rear deck. What I now do is lay my glass on the underside of the deck and roll back the glass cloth where those areas need filling. Then I mix up some epoxy putty and fill the areas. Then I glass the underside of the deck. I squeege the cloth right into the filled areas on the putty and coat the glass. It totally avoids any sanding and works out perfectly.
