That's a great idea. I wish I thought of that. I just finished glassing the hull and didn't precoat with the thought that the epoxy would help even out the color without having to precoat. I decided to go with just one coat, and noted about the black.

Thanks for the advice. Very helpful. The color looks great under the glass, can't wait to see it after the weave is filled out. This is going to be sweet!
