Tom I hope you see this. I'm in the process of selecting a kayak design for my wife. I want to build something fairly short, maneuverable and that rides high in the water. We have sandy bottom rivers in Nebraska with very shallow spots. I'd like to build her something that will float in shallow water and be able to maneuver easily around sand bars and tight bends. I see your Sea Bee is designed for a heavier person. Would my wife of 130 lbs ride higher in the water with this design than the Sea Tour 13? Would the Sea Bee be too cumbersome for her? I'm shooting for about at 3 to 3.5" draft.
