Thanks for the heads up David. I'm waiting to hear back from the Paskal guys but unfortunately the Metalland guys only sell limited size T5 aluminium.

However Direct Aluminium are selling 6063-T6 in 20mm*1.6mm and 16.2*1.6mm which from the spec sheet has a tensile/yield strength of 30/25ksi vs 38/35ksi for 6061 T6.

Does anyone know if 6063-T6 aluminium in 20mm and 1.6 thick will offer sufficent strength for a folder?
