I have the same question as Ken about cutting into one of these seats, but was also wondering if anyone could tell me the dimensions of the seat? I'm looking to put it into an Artic Tern 14' and the hip plates are only 15" apart.

I found another possible option called the Hot Seat. Has anyone ever tried one of these or the softer (blue) version? For only $26.50, it seems like a good deal if comfortable. Thanks...
