It works fine, seems about the same as the larger blocks of minicell. Also if your boat is around 20 to maybe 22 inches wide you can shape the sides to jamb into place tightly enough not to need glue. I ended up thinning the two I did from the top to keep the side pieces attached. They have held up well for a number of years. I used a big nasty wood rasp to shape it - ends up looking like gray suede.
