: I read a post on this forum a while ago about using spray adhesive to hold
: the fibreglass in place while coating. Does this method work and will the
: spray adhesive affect the epoxy bonding with the saturation coat?

Charles, way back in the 60's I built a sail boat using a two-part Polyurethane that worked something like an adhesive for holding the fiberglass to the wood. The first special undercoat I put on dried tacky and held the fiberglass perfect on the boat. Then after the second special outer coats were applied it all set up just as our epoxies do. I never saw this type of Polyurethane again. I think I originally bought it from Sears and Robuck. I thought it was great stuff.
