: This question is for Tom or anyone who has built a Nikumi. I'm seriously
: considering building one and have been studying the offsets and pictures
: on Yostwerks. The offsets indicate a flat rear deck from gunwale to
: gunwale while the pictures appear to show a slight centre ridge and two
: ridges just aft of the cockpit. Am I misreading the offsets or is this a
: change/improvement to the original offsets?
: Many thanks.
The original was built with a slightly raised aft deck similar to most
Baidarka's. The "new" offsets reflect a flat aft deck. You can use only the
aft deck center stringer , all three stringers, or the 2 side stringers like
the Sea Rider Greenland.(attached)
