No I have not installed the seat yet. I am hoping to join the deck to the hull this weekend, so then I will install the bulkheads, varnish, then fit the boat out.
The seat seems ok, the price was right. I have found I have punched a few small holes in the finished surface just in measuring and rough fitting it, so I am not sure how well it will hold up. I think it will look mush better than what I could have done with a block of minicell foam, and at this point I believe it will be comfortable enough, but no telling on that point until I paddle with it for a while.
