: It's coming along. A few snags. It's getting cold, so the epoxy is curing
: slowly. I was trying to heat it up and got some air bubbles on the inside
: hull that will have to be sanded out or filled.

: The deck is looking nice. There's going to be plenty of room for size 11
: feet. The rear deck wasn't so great, so I had to do a few modifications
: while building. That will have to be changed on the computer model.

: I compared this kayak to my Romany and the Romany has much more volume, but
: still I think there will be plenty of room for camping out of the Iggy.

: I've also decided on final finishing. I'm going to run a fiberglass keel
: strip and one inch seam tape on the outer seams. These will be dyed black,
: so the boat will be very dark and skin-like. The blood red dye is cool,
: because in the shadow it looks almost black and in the sun it looks a deep
: red. Nice.

Tell me about it getting cold, probably worse there, but I've had to move the boat from the garage back into the tiny shop . Was nice having all that extra room.
