Sweet thanks all, thanks Jay . . . that's basically what I was trying to ask; would I end up touching enough of the edge while beveling to not need prepreparation (trimming edges or Cove and Bead, etc). . . sounds like I'll be all set

Paul, I may try ripping a few strips with the 5° deg. edge to see how that works . . . do little experimenting. Is this a technique you use, too?

thanks again . . . off to finish ripping strips ;-)
