My hips and two fists equal 19 inches. 5'8" 140lbs My existing boat is 16 ft long and I like tracking vs turning of that length. I do not want to learn how to roll, so I'm looking for a boat that prefers to stay upright. It seems that my choices are the Rider, the Ranger and the sea otter R. Is there any others I'm missing? What is the difference between the ranger and rider in regards to how they paddle? Are both very capable of not tipping? How does the Otter compare? I'm looking for increased performance over my 23.5 greenland yak, but still have good tracking and stability. As mentioned early, rolling is not my thing.
So basically, which boat is the best design for me.
Thanks,
scott
