I am going to burn (pyrography) an image of an Osprey coming in to catch a fish on the deck of my Pygmy Osprey Std. I'm worried that the chest and white areas on the wings won't show up well when I epoxy and fiberglass it. Can I paint the white areas with a paint and not have it affect the adhesion of the epoxy and fiberglass? If so, what kind of paint? Would acrylic paint do, or should I use something else or just leave it bare wood and hope it gives the effect of the white chest etc.?
