It can be rolled and tipped. Use a fine, solvent-resistant roller cover and tip with a badger or chine brush. Foam brushes don't do well with the solvents. I haven't tried it yet but the varnish has the same consistency as the paint. Based on how the paint goes down It should roll and tip fine.
