: Dan, are you not using the S3 WR-LPU anymore?

You got it... I'm only spraying waterborne polys on furniture and cabinetry. I stopped using S3 WR-LPU for commercial work on canoes and kayaks last month and have switched back to solvent-based marine polys. The feedback from my customers has been it's just too soft and tender for their liking. One customer, who works his boats hard (maybe not as hard as Robert Pruden... but close) has already repainted his hull bottom because of the amount and depth of scratches. On the last hull the LPU peeled off in sheets. The surface as prepared and the material applied per the S3 instructions. I'm currently repainting that boat with Perfection. I loved the fact that I could spray the LPU without killing myself or my family. I just can't trust it for commercial work. When someone comes out with a marine waterborne poly that performs like the solvent-based ones I'll try again...
