: around Port Townsend and happened to stumble into the workshop of the
: Wooden Boat Foundation. The people there were nice enough to show me
: around. One of the items of particular interest was their recently
: acquired building frame for Pocock shells. This is basically the Iron
: Maiden of strongbacks!

I wandered thru the shop this year at the Wooden Boat Festival. Pretty cool place to visit, I must say. A veritable feast for the senses with the sights, smells and sounds of the shop.

Difficult to get pictures of the whole thing. It's a looong set of tools.

I'll echo that. We were there for the Wooden Boat Festival and then just hung around for a couple days afterwards to paddle and do some sightseeing. Definitely a fan of Port Townsend.
