Im not so worried about the stuff being too cheap. He buys (litterally) a ton at the time, so he gets massive discounts.
It is epoxy, not polyester, and it has been used on wood before. I just dont know who has used it and how it compares to other products. Clarity isnt a problem as the kayak is going to be painted. Im more worried about how good the laminate holds up over a longer period with bumps and bruises. Potlife is no problem either, he has a slow hardener too.

Anyway, if noone knows the rpoduct I just might buy the stuff hoping the best. Ill be the guineapig and sand of the whole thing if things dont work out.
