Good point, there have been times when I've ordered marine ply thru a local lumber yard and didn't have to pay extra for the shipping, they just added it to the plywood order they were already getting. Yes the per sheet price was somewhat higher than some of the less expensive places, but shipping of 4x8 sheets and the crating charge isn't cheap. So the overall cost can be fairly decent from local yards if you ask. (most big box lumber yards will not do this, though a couple of the larger regional ones will)
