Hi Bill,

Sometimes I choose my words carefully and other times I am pretty sloppy. This time I was careful. On the Fulbot site they are called pontoons. I ordered by phone since I had a special order and the lady called them pontoons. And on the Fulbot Forum they are usually called pontoons. So I think the nomenclature isn't as important as the understanding of what one is talking about. Someone on this board who just wants pontoons (AMA's) to stabilize their kayak or canoe for fishing or as in your case to take photos may not know what an ama or aka is, but they ususally know what a pontoon is or a cross bar or outrigger bar. So I use plain language words allot. My spell check doesn’t understand the words AKA or AMA.
