Sorry folks for posting this boat so much. I consider this close to a kayak/canoe. With it's rounded bottom it has handled some pretty good lake white caps and can also be paddled in about 4 inches of water with just my body weight and a little cargo. It is pretty dry crashing into waves and can carry a lot of cargo for an 11 1/2 foot boat x 26' wide. I took Little Auk sizes and the free Bear Boat kayak design program click on the rounded version which made this boat much higher volume and a safer boat in rough water. It didn't paddle worth a D but with an added keel/skeg it paddles strait and true but yet can maneuver in tight spots. I modified and re-modified this little boat and it is my favorite boat I have ever owned.
