That's interesting, I was just looking over the Aerolite boat site yesterday - I think Dacron is a good way to go for a permanent covering. And I'll be buying Saran and window film today or tomorrow, but still haven't finished the frame.
Your post gives me an idea - I may try panty hose as a no-seam option, if I can find something with a tight weave, like tights (that might look a little weird in the store, me checking panty hose fabric textures). I suppose it ought to shrink - worth a try, anyway.
