pantyhoses are a good idea, definately go to a dollar store, get one big pair, the biggest you find, and one smaller pair, not the smallest though, get the heaviest "fabric" available, cant help on which though, the big pair will give you the middle section, the smallis pair will give you the ends, to cover it get a spray paint can but try first on a piece because, if you ever use stockings material as filters youll see, some kind of paints simply melt it.
