Thanks, It will be laminated oak/walnut, 1/2" by 1/2" - rounded over of course. I did this same type on on my Guillemot and I like the proportions over the 1/4" thick coming, and I have never had a skirt slip off after a full day of paddling and rolling in all conditions.
