Paul was right on with selling the wood or using it for furniture or boat topsides. A possible buyer for this wood would be a boat builder - sail or power. Mahagany is a classic wood for interiors and some topsides and is highly desired.

Several years back a guy built an OI out of Mahagony and brought it to the Newfound gathering which I was at. The boat was fairly light. He used 3/16" strips and was cautious with epoxy and layup and no VCP's etc. I was surprised. I looked nice but not any nicer than cedar. Mahagony being a semi-hard wood just makes the milling and fairing process a lot more work too.
