John, dadgum you, you sound just like my buddy Bryan Mason. He's the guy who taught me my first roll, and barely touches kayaks any more, became a bonafide canoe nut. He and Kurt Loup, a name familiar here, have both foresaken kayaks for canoes and infected my brain with the madness.

If it helps at all, I only played with the double paddle a little bit, and stuck with the single blade for 80% of the voyage at least.

I think the Bash is going to be in the Dallas-Ft Worth area this year. End of April, early May, somewhere around there. Nothing official, but I think it's a safe estimate.
