I did it, heated oven to 170 and stuck the piece in there, turned oven off. Left it in there a couple hours and the squeeze out epoxy schmutz is hard as a rock.
It *is* easier to take wood off than put it back on, but sometimes you can put it back on! : )
Would not recommend for appearance stuff though, this squeeze out looks a little bubbly. Outgassing I suppose. This is an arched deck beam for a SOF, I trimmed the ends a bit short on the angles, and glued shims to it, so it will (1) not really be seen, (2) be held in compression anyway, in case this weakened the bond. Probably could have just used titebond or PU glue and been fine, but only had epoxy.
