Correct, but you can sort by "full View" which means those titles are PDF downloadable. It's been suggested that a notebook computer would be much easier than reading on a regular monitor.
You can also log in and create a virtual library, just favoriting your titles to read online.
I'm collecting a mass of the PDF's on exploration, pirates, canoes, boat building, early Japan, and early bicycles. Everything is out of copyright, so the majority of titles appear to be from 1800 to early 1900's.
I think the search term Canoe gets more than kayak because the British refer to the closed top canoes.
Never thought I'd be able to find and read all the old boating literature till now!
