S&G: Importing models into FreeShip

How can one import a model into FreeShip and let the imported data be the controlnet? What I see happening is that FreeShip creates a controlnet for me that is different from the points of my imported data. It interpolates this controlnet all over the place so the whole S&G nature is gone. If the controlnet were identical to the imported data I could assign the imported chines as crease edges and assign line discontinuities to specific points, and get the original S&G characteristics back. I just want to run the Kaper hydrodynamics for a model that was created outside FreeShip, I don't need FreeShip to do the modeling for me.

I tried 2 methods for importing the data: surfaces and chines. The surfaces method basically accepts cross section data that it smoothes out, with the chines method it accepts chines that it smoothes out. The chines unfortunately have some points where I really need to be able to tell FreeShip that the line derivatives are discontinuous because its interpolation creates large deviations there. I suppose there is no way to tell FreeShip to do this (other than through the controlnet), or turn all interpolations off?
