And I thought I was the only one crazy enough - I just aquired a 36" C frame, maker unknown. No motor on mine either, but it did come with an on the fly variable speed pulley... 3 phase though, I'll have to rig up a rotary phase converter to get it going on residential power. Probably 1915ish vintage on the saw, needs a complete rebuild. It *was* running but it sat in the snow for 5 years before I got my hands on it. Originally from the Canadian National Railway wood shop.

I'm hoping to restore it from the ground up and slam a 5hp single phase on it.

I'll be watching your site to see how your restoration goes.
