OH, BOY! This argument again!

Use whatever works best for you.

With that said, I find using a high angle paddling results in less wrist movement when using a feathered paddle. The wrist twist that everyone seems to learn when they are first learning to paddle is more a learning tool. Wrists should be able to maintain a straight alignment when paddling.

I personally like both a 60 and 45 degree feather. My ww paddle is 45, but I'll also use that in my sk when I want a shorter paddle. My Greenland paddle is unfeathered.

Should we do the bent shaft/straight shaft argument too?
