Hi Mike,
If it's temperature tolerance range is wide and high enough, the Loctite will work fine as long as the glue you chose is compatible with the foam.

Epoxy is usually used as edge glue as it forms a connection between the inner and outer epoxy laminates. Not a hugely strong connection but it does help stiffen the structure a bit.
