I agree, a group of successful hippies that have stayed true to their values.
It has certainly expanded my life being on trips like that one on the Clark Fork of the Yellowstone.
I like YC's statement about running his business the same way he climbs. Many folks think that means wildly taking risks, when in fact it means calculating everything ahead of time so you know you are going to be successful.
There is a small mountain film festival shaping up for early May in Carbondale Colorado by the former publishers of Climbing magazine. That should be a reunion of many of these folks. Consider coming over and bringing your kayak.
