I am asking this question in advance to avoid problems later on down the track.
I am working on a guillemot stitch and glue boat. When the hull is stitched to the deck there is of course very limited access to the insides of the boat (assuming there is any at that stage of the build). The question is, how does one neatly fillet and then glass the seams of the boat with the hull and deck attached to each other. Is it best to do the hull and deck separately using guides, or is it best to cut out the hatches and cockpit from the deck, stitch it all together and then glue and glass the inside seams?
I am thinking that perhaps i should stitch it all together, build rough guides (half guides, for deck and hull) then sand and cut away at them until they fit exactly. In that case i should be able to remove the deck and hull and work on them individually. (once the deck and hull are done, ill have to cut the hatches and cockpit out anyway to glue them together :/
