as general one you could give a look to Bearboat too. As for chined hulls you could check Carene and Carlson's Hulls (carlsondesign.com). (dont know if they are still online but if they are in some server check The Internet Archive, sometimes stuff pop out that way)

You could actually get a lot of use out of Freeship (that i would prefer to DelftshipFree actually) but if you have the time and will it could be a good thing to work on two different softwares to be able to use the different capabilities they could have. The fact that Freeship works with Carene and Hulls files could be a bonus.
