No seat, you sit on the floor, the lower the better since Tom's boats are quite skinny. Any height added will result in a very unstable boat (not all that stable sitting on the bottom ).
Floors sitting on top of the frames to me would be too high, my floors bottoms are even with the bottoms of the frames sitting on the aluminum angles that are on Tom's plans.
