Hi John,

There is not alot of fiberglass mat that's sized for epoxy. The stuff that's sized for polyester is very difficult at best to get the sizing to break down so the fibers will lay flat.

Sizing btw is the "glue" that holds the random fibers in mat together, it's designed to be used with either one of the esters, polyester, vinylester etc. or epoxies.

The stuff you'd get from places like Walmart is most likely sized for the esters, used with polyester resin for car body work.
