I've got to do the same thing and I've only got size 10 shoes. I paddle with neoprene socks, the thicker ones I don't have room for, Laughing Loon Disko Bay btw, and I have to have my heels on the centerline touching each other with my toes at the edges of the chines to fit. And I added and inch to the deck height or I wouldn't have fit at all.

Like Duane said, you get used to it.
