: Rob's attention span must be a tad short or his Baja Canada (lower 48)
: geography is off a bit.. I'm an Iowa transplant.. Hawkeye, not Buckeye...

Naw, it isn't my attention span, it's my short term memory. That said, I have always confused Iowa with Ohio and vice-versa. Some thing about corn and potatoes. Not sure why that happens.
: Her name is Rocio! Spanish for 'dew'. It's not unusual for Hispanic ladies
: around here to have weather related names..
: This one may be more of a "tempestad" than you want to tackle..
: Remember hurricanes Rita and Katrina??
Gulp! But Tony, she has such a nice smile. Is that the calm before the storm?
: y'all come back now, hear?
Definitely! I want to paddle out to one of those off-shore rigs - during a pleasant fall day. You DO have pleasant fall days there or do I bring yer weather down a little when I arrive...you know, that cold blue wind that seems to waft behind me wherever I go, the one that withers then freezes nearby foliage.
My collegue and I were chatting about Texan and Hawaiian weather today as it occurs during our most butt freezing winter days. We were standing out side talking...for a few minutes, I couldn't feel the -15 C temps or the snow falling on my face, I was back in Houston sitting on my friends lawn chair placed on her garden patio...why do I live here?
