the blades are 7 1/4" and with the thin kerf they walked right through the cedar and aspen.
Thank you all for the blade advice ... not complete agreement but close.
Aspen?... I have not realized that aspen was used for anything but to make paper pulp and now i hear it is used for kayaks.
