True, but only initial stability. Older Freeship or the Plus version can calculate cross curve which is something you should be checking.

Tracking and the need for it is quite personal. For my eye this kayak wouldn't track heavily, but in other hand it still seems to have quite cleaving bow&stern and V-hull which should give more tracking than most agile kayaks. Tracking (and weathercocking) can be fixed quite easily with adding a skeg. It does change the feeling too, I personally like the "skeg feeling".
