What about cutting a kerf in the blade of the paddle along the crack and then painting the exposed new wood with unthickened epoxy then filling the kerf with thickened epoxy. If you thicken with wood flour you might be able to match the wood quite well and if the repair doesn't match perfectly don't worry about it you will only see the repair 50% of the time... the rest of the time it will be in the water, with only the good blade exposed
