hey everybody. nice to finally have an excuse to post here. this forum has helped me alot already throughout building my first kayak.

my fiance just built a night heron stitch and glue kayak, and i started building my own a couple of months ago. i used the pieces that came with his kit to trace pieces of my own. mu-uh-ah-ha-ha!

but i screwed up during glassing. the parts are together and all, and the hull and deck are glassed. then after i did that we went to maine for the week after christmas and now the epoxy is cured. i used "silvertip laminating epoxy" from system three with the slow hardener, so i don't think it blushed. what should i do about fill coats? if i used fairing compound instead of only epoxy to fill the fiberglass weave would the process be any different? i tried searching the forums, but i'm still a little vague on how to deal with this
