It should work if you get a good bond on it. One of my criteria is to take up minimal space inside the kayak and the fin I was looking at was hooked like a shark fin.
If I am content with what I am working on I would like to make it smaller (lower) and try twin skegs each side of the keel and ultimately have them controled with the Sea Dog rotating pedal footbrace system.

Please keep me in the loop if you proceed with this. I hope to be posting some positive results myself soon.
