I think I may have picked up a stack of Scotchbrite pads at Home Depot, but it's been so long I can't be sure of that. Any coarse pad will do.

For roller covers, I've used the 1/8" foam nap ones that are specifically for epoxy, but they're not cheap. I usually buy the adhesive roller covers at Home Depot - they're kind of short nap mohair looking thing. I use a pullsaw to cut it into thirds, and then use a stubby roller. Mix epoxy and dump into a paint tray, and then start rolling. When you're done, toss the roller cover. Clean up the paint tray with white vinegar and paper towels. (and wear latex gloves for the whole process) It will take 2-3 coats to fill the weave of 6 oz. cloth.
