They don't paddle kayaks or canoes, but I thought some of you might want to know about what happened to this rowing club yesterday. It was destroyed by a rare tornado (the last one to hit Vancouver, WA was 36 years ago). Luckily, no one was there when it hit. An adult group had just finished and the high school session was not scheduled to start for another 2 hours.

Here is a link to a newspaper story about the storm. It tells how this club was started from nearly nothing 6 years ago. Two of our sons have participated in the past and a neighbor of ours has competed nationally.
