I'm not familiar enough with the Pygmy products to give you any kind of educated answer, but you might want to check out the Chesapeake Light Craft website at www.clcboats.com. Their website is chock full of information for S&G builders. They offer a wide range of boats, and it sounds as if one of their Chesapeake models would suit your needs. I just ordered plans for their Sail Rig, and everyone there was very helpful in answering my questions. There is also a forum on that site similar to this one that is also very informative for S&G builders.

If I were you, I'd request a catalog. Pages 34-35 contain the specs for each of their makes along with those that Nick has developed at Guillemot. Those specs include dimensions, weight, knee height, cockpit size, paddler weight, max. shoe size, & max. payload - all of the information that you're seeking.
