Bryan I keep thinking back to experts in Deep Trouble that got into problems they couldn't handle when water got into their kayaks. Hatch lids coming off or capsizing in waves and winds so big they couldn't get back into their kayaks and stay in them and their roll didn't work in those kind of conditions. In those conditions it would seem the V Bottom would give the most stability when you need an extra edge, with the round bottom in the middle and the flat bottom giving the least stability.
