: Thanks Tony. I found a way to actually put in bulkhead as a component in the
: model. I drew one in on the model. But as I said earlier it was always
: part of the one of the existing panels even if was on it's own layer. So I
: selected the four points of the bulkhead and exported/saved it as a PART.
: I then undid the changes to the boat. Imported the PART and it placed it
: where it was originally and as new component. I went to another boat and I
: could import the PART in there too. I had to resize it and move it but it
: gave me something to work with. When I develop the panes it ever created
: the bulkhead.
: The downsides for anyone that tries this. The thickness of the hull isn't
: allowed for and I haven't found a way to make it mate up to the curved
: deck. Neither of these are a big concern for me.
: I just wanted to be able to locate the bulkheads and get some offsets that
: are close. This allows me to do both.
sounds like you're way ahead of where i thought you were.
now you're one of the experts!
