Hi!
Your design looks like a huge improvement, but has another problem (as do mine!)
The crosspiece can still get out if it gets at an angle, so the perfect design incorporates a "flange" at the ends of the crosspiece so it cant get out at all.
My crosspiece wont float away, as it is held in place by a bungee. Only problem was the first time it snapped out of the guides, the bungee pulled the crosspiece so far forward I just couldnt reach it again with my arms. Now I have put in a piece of string so i can pull it back out, but Im a bit nervous about the security aspect af having string around my feet.
So at the moment my Nikumi stays at shore, untill I have found a good solution that doesnt mean cutting the Iqyax too much
